Planned Storage Systems Limited is a leading independent pallet racking manufacturer based in the UK. The business supplies a broad range of storage solutions, and developed market leading solutions for specialist applications and large contract delivery, including Hanging Garment and rack supported mezzanines to blue chip customer base including Next, Bon Marche and DHL.
Bought from shareholders to facilitate their retirement, and over the course of our investment acquired a smaller UK competitor, doubled turnover to over £30m, established a production facility over 100,000 SqM in Eastern Europe to address expansion into the European market.
The business was sold to a trade buyer in 2009.
